SuiteWorld 2019: Your Event Guide

SuiteWorld 2019

Over the years, SuiteWorld has acquired global recognition with attendees from across 58 different countries in attendance and has become the industries #1 Cloud ERP conference. The 3-day action-packed event full of insights is expected to bring in close to 8,000 attendees in total, where about 50% of them are representing their companies from a financial or executive position.

Whether you’re a first-time attendee or an old pro, here’s what to expect from SuiteWorld 2019.

Venue and Lodging

This year’s SuiteWorld is the 9th annual SuiteWorld conference and is scheduled to take place on April 1-4 in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Sands Expo and Convention Center. If you’re attending or plan to attend SuiteWorld 2019, the closest lodging is either The Venetian or The Palazzo. These are the only hotels which conjoin to the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

If you’re driving or renting a car, there are a couple of options in terms of parking. The Palazzo offers an underground parking garage and has direct access to the Sands Expo, which is the more practical option. In the event the underground garage is full, additional parking can be found at The Venetian. While it’s not directly connected to the Sands Expo, the above-ground structure at The Venetian is your next closest option.

SuiteWorld Expo

The NetSuite SuiteWorld Expo takes place on the second level of The Sands Expo and Convention Center. On Level 2, you register and enter through Hall C which hosts the Expo floor. Find some time in your schedule to visit the Stampli booth #647 by ‘Dog is Good’ community space, or download the Expo floor map.

Stampli booth #647

SuiteWorld Expo Hall C will become your hub due to its ideal location between the dining concourse in Hall D, and the keynote auditorium in Hall B.

Moreover, the Expo floor is also home to the NetSuite Commons. Where you can peruse through the demogrounds, chat at one of the SuiteGurus stations, and hear the latest news from exhibitors at the SuiteWorld Grow & Tell theater. Also called the Expo stage, the Grow & Tell theater is where exhibitors tell their story and how they’re innovating in their space. Make sure to stop by on Tuesday at 8:15 AM to catch “The Future of Accounts Payable” presented by CEO of Stampli, Eyal Feldman.

SuiteWorld Keynotes

There are two main keynotes scheduled for 2019 with the opener taking place on Tuesday, April 2nd at 9 AM. Then the executive keynote on Wednesday, April 3rd at 9 AM. The SuiteWorld opening keynote on Tuesday takes place just before The Future of Accounts Payable session in the Expo hall, so make sure to stop by before you make your way to Hall B.

This year’s opening keynote will include a panel of familiar faces. You will probably be thinking of The Hangover movie series when actor, comedian, and screenwriter Jason Sudeikis takes the stage. My prediction is we will hear a hangover joke or two, pun intended. We’ll also hear from Kelly Leonard of Second City Works, John Peto at Deloitte Digital, Shawd Assad of VICE Media, Rob King from the American Cancer Society, and Oracle’s very own Evan Goldberg.

The SuiteWorld executive keynote on Wednesday should fuel your mind after an eventful day one. If you’re a basketball fan or just a fan of the man himself — NBA Hall of Famer & Entrepreneur Shaquille O’Neal will make his initial appearance among this year’s SuiteWorld festivities. The keynote will also include tracks from Grow Wire’s Kendall Fisher, Mandy Dhaliwal from Dell Boomi, Brian McClain at LOUDAudio, and Oracle’s Fritz Nelson and Jason Maynard. In addition, we expect an announcement or two regarding security and Oracle Netsuite’s move to two-factor authentication coming to administrative roles on April 8th, 2019. In other words, applications connected through login credentials will have to be re-established through tokens. At the same time, keep an ear open for this and more platform updates.

Breakout Sessions

Need a dose of the latest in finance? Check out one of the over 300 scheduled sessions at this year’s SuiteWorld. The breakout sessions are located at the Expo stage or on Level 3. You can access Level 3 just outside the Expo (Hall B) by registration. These breakout sessions are a good opportunity to create your own knowledge experience or listen to how a particular problem was solved. If you’re in accounts payable or receivable, you can’t miss The Future of Accounts Payable: Why Artificial Intelligence and Collaboration are Key session on the Expo stage.

Evening Events

Stampli is hosting its own Cocktail Party scheduled on Tuesday at 5:30 PM. It’s a great opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy a cocktail after an eventful SuiteWorld day one. Anyone interested in attending can email me at [email protected].

What’s the buzz around GloFest? It’s a one-of-a kind experience and details are kept secret for the most part. The GloFest party draws a crowd and always lives up to its expectations. What we do know about this year’s GloFest, is that Shaquille O’Neal or DJ “Shaq” Diesel will be making another appearance on stage as he spins his own track. We also know that GloFest has an open bar.

SuiteWorld Hashtags

The SuiteWorld hashtag this year is #SuiteWorld19 and among the buzz, hashtags like #GrowBeyond, #CloudERP, #WomenInFinance, and #AccountsPayable are also trending.
