What a year it’s been for Stampli, the team, and our customers! 

With your support & feedback we’ve been able to expand the Stampli platform to support even more capabilities, making Stampli the best solution for finance teams looking to control spend and automate their AP in one place. 

Here’s a look at some of our favorite highlights – from awards to new product launches – over the last year. 

Big Company Milestones & Momentum

In the first half of 2021 we were thrilled to announce Stampil’s Series C raise of $50 million. This was an exciting milestone for us, as it has allowed (and continues to allow) Stampli to invest in our product, our team, and our customer-base. 

Along with our raise, we happily welcomed key leadership onto the Stampli team. These additions have been instrumental in taking Stampli to the next level, and will continue to bring us where we need to be to serve our growing community.

Our focus on building a great team also resulted in Comparably naming Stampli a top 100 Best Company for Work Life Balance, Best Company for Women, Best Company for Diversity, Best CEO & Best Culture.

Platform Enhancements to Further Streamline Invoice & Bill Management

Our core goal is that Stampli provides top-notch value and helps make your day-to-day life easier. Over the last year we put special attention on building features that our customers want. Here are just a few of the areas we focused on over the last year, plus a few of the standout features we’ve released to support each.

1. New Ways to Control All Corporate Spend in One Place

Stampli has always aimed to help customers eliminate “Shadow Spend” and provide full visibility into company spend, regardless of the payment method. To continue on that path we announced the ability to: 

  • Manage Corporate Card Spend with Stampli Card. Stampli Card is the most powerful way to issue, process, and control all corporate card spend alongside invoice processing and bill payments in one platform. 
  • Pay vendors faster with enhanced Direct Pay. With Direct Pay, customers can take advantage of vendor payment discount terms, customize payment reference numbers, easily access vendor documents, troubleshoot export problems with enhanced error messages, and more.

2. Even More Capabilities to Streamline Invoice Coding & Processing

Coding shouldn’t be a burden which is why we put a heavy emphasis on enhancing our coding tools to make it even easier for you to code invoices faster and more accurately. 

  • Add invoices into Stampli three different ways such as upload or drag-and-drop files directly Stampli in PDF, PNG, or JPG, emailing PDFs, or using a virtual drive. 
  • Process paid invoices as Payment Receipts, along with other invoices, and export them to your ERP as a payment or expense rather than open bills.  
  • Set up one-click access to Stampli with any SAML 2.0 SSO in a few steps so users can log in using their SSO and/or Stampli credentials to access the platform. 
  • Plus every tool you need to code invoices at your fingertips such as table templates to auto-populate GL or item tables, ability to replace invoice documents, increased access to ad-hoc data imports & exports, and support for invoices with +100 lines.

3. Deeper Visibility into Your AP and User Data

Data is key, we all know that. And to help accounting teams better understand their AP data, we announced a number of new capabilities.

  • Gain complete visibility into your AP processes with Stampli Reports. Our out-of-the-box reports provide immediate insights in AP processes, invoice status, and more. 
  • Streamline audit processes with User Management Reports that provide instant access to active users and their permissions, user status, and admin activities.

4. ERP Integrations to Get your Data In and Out

Every organization’s AP processes are unique. This year we also focused on developing more tight-knit integrations to fit and work directly alongside your ERP. 

  • New pre-built integrations with Dealertrack, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • Enhanced existing integrations with QuickBooks Desktop, NetSuite, Intacct, QuickBooks Online including international tax support, payment Receipt for invoices that have been paid, and default vendor currency.

New Resources & Surveys

As we enhanced our product we also expanded our resource library to bring you useful tools, insights & tips for becoming a financial superstar. 

This included the launch of our Stampli-sponsored podcast, Leaders of Modern Finance, which brings finance experts together to host candid conversations around the future of finance, and tips for succeeding in the age of automation.

We also conducted a host of new surveys which give finance teams and their c-suite counterparts valuable intel on how AP teams are working, struggling, and succeeding in the modern day. 

These included: AP Today: Bottlenecks, Benchmarks & Best Practices, Drivers Of AP Success: Metrics, Collaboration, Influence, The How, The Why & The ROI of AP Automation, and How & Why Companies Choose Payment Types (among others).
